New Hope

Grief Care / Aftershock

Grief Care

Throughout our lifetime each of us will experience the death of family members and friends.  Experiencing the pain of grief can be overwhelming. Though no two people will grieve in the same way, the pain of grief is the common thread that links us together as we walk through the valley of grief.

Grief Care is an 8 week support group that is designed to provide support, comfort and encouragement for people who are grieving the death of a loved one. We don’t claim to have all the answers nor can we mend your broken heart.  What we can do is lead you to the One who loves you and offers healing with hope.

Grief is such a difficult journey. No one should go it alone.  We care and would love to come along side you as you walk through the valley of grief.

Aftershock: Survivors of Suicide

Aftershocks is a part of Cornerstone Grief Care and is specifically for those who are grieving the suicide death of a loved one.

If you are living amid the aftershocks of the earthquake of suicide, or if the seismic tremors signal a potential earthquake nearby, know that you are not alone. The thoughts and feelings you are experiencing are not uncommon.  For too long, suicide has been a taboo subject, one veiled in shame and guilt.  There is hope. Healing and recovery are within reach.

Childcare is provided for children through grade 5.
